The Friends of Silver Falls is dedicated to preserve and protect the natural and cultural resources at Silver Falls State Park through educating park visitors and creating connections that lead to good stewardship.
What We Do
The Friends of Silver Falls provides a variety of educational opportunities for day visitors as well as campers.
Campground programs include JR Ranger programs and Evening Campground programs.
Day Use programs include:
- Discovery Tables
- Historic Stone Kitchen Shelter
- Guided Walks
- School Field Trips
These programs are great opportunities for visitors to learn more about the park, the natural and cultural history, and the geology, with the goal to enhance the connection between visitor and Silver Falls State Park.
