Volunteer: Native Plant Garden Project

Build a database on the FOSF website of the plant profiles for the Native Plant Garden at the South Falls Historic District.

The Native Plant Garden is a re creation of a long ago project by Blanche Sweger, who loved the park and loved wildflowers. The space around the South Falls Historic Lodge has once again been utilized to intentionally and strategically represent the native plants in the park. Visitors are then able to read the correlating labels and learn to identify our native species before heading out on the trails.

QR codes are to provide additional information and photos of each specie. Volunteers are needed to help populate the plant profiles on the database where the QR code will land.

Program: Interpretive and Educational Programs
